After 3 times at the Zion Harley Dealership, my 06 FXST still pops back in the carb, not all the time, when I start to take off at a light or corner, what are they missing? It did not do it until it was re jetted and slip ons, and a air cleaner change. They said they pulled the carb, intake, checked everything and call it good. Someone must know, this must happen once in a while. Any ideas???
Hurricane
I had the same problem as well with my 05 Deuce. The dealer tried
every possible trick and still the same thing. They even changed my
carb with a new one and guess what, still the same. I eventually
bought a Mikuni 42 HSR and was done with it. Plus greater throttle
responseand performance to boot. Something to check into.
Same issues here. I also went with the Mikuni 42MM and it went down. Didnt completely sstop, but happens no were near what it used to. Although it does seem to happen a lot more once the temp drops under 60 degrees.
