Question ignition issues

I have had a 1996 Softail for 26 years now, recently Ive put on new sparkplug wires and new plugs, new ignition coil, but the scooter still after a few rides it starts to back fire, spit and spurder , and then the plug are fouled out again, should I check the cam sensor, it was replaced back in 2017.???

What has made you focus solely on a spark...? Did you do any actual diagnosis of the issue...? You need to do a thorough, systematic diagnosis of the problem, rather than just throwing parts at it....

You first have to figure out if the problem is spark or fuel.....

Get an inline spark tester and see if you are getting a reliable spark.... then go from there..

Keep us posted, there are many that can help you on this forum...

Thanks, I took it to the shop to have it checked out, they told me the coil was bad, but after a few rides I have noticed it started to spit and spudder again.I guess Ill take it back again and have them diagnose it properly.
