Duece seat
I’ve have unknowingly found myself in the Deuce parts nightmare when I purchased a 2007 Deuce. The seat on the one I’ve have is a Sundowner which is to wide for my liking but I have found someone selling a part # 52988-07 badlander they says fits all softail which doesn’t sound right. I have not found anything to collaborate this on the web? So I’m hoping maybe I can find out if this part number will fit my machine. I am grateful to any response thank you for your time.

don't know if I believe that either.
Not for the Deuce anyway.
I'm almost positive the front mounting point/post is different from other softail seats I've looked at.
(my '04 FXSTDI anyway)
