Beware.... many of the copies on eBay are often selling for more than you can purchase new.
You need the factory service manual #99482-08 (there is also a #99482-08A available)... It is available from your dealer for $149.98. Usually there will be a wait for manuals ordered from the dealer...
I recently checked on a used factory service manual on eBay for a friend and there was one clown asking $260.00 for a "mint condition" used manual....
There is one place on eBay that seems to have a bunch of Harley manuals for sale, but they are always selling for $199.00.
I got both of my HD factory manuals, the electrical and the service one on eBay for about $ 50 each. I also bought the Haynes on eBay pretty cheap. Nice to have both to get different pictures and explanations of procedures.
Not sure if they have HD, but there is a company called Cyclepedia that makes manuals. I bought one a while back for another bike I have. Pretty good manuals and was very reasonable over the factory one for that bike. But go to the Cyclepedia site, not eBay for those, much cheaper than the people selling them on eBay.

Go to File and type in the year and scroll down to see if the model you want has been uploaded. Sometimes the year before, or after may be close enough if you can't find the one you're looking for.
I have a PDF workshop manual for 2010 Softail & 2007 Softail, not 2008 specifically but I'd imagine the 2007 year is pretty dang close.
