Does anyone know if the 2008 Softail Service Manual has been updated to include the Cross Bones?

Yes. I bought 2008 softail shop manual and it does include crossbones

that's great to know. I guess I will pick one up then. I didn't know since the XBones was a mid year model whether it would be in it or not. Jerry

Yes they have updated the service manual, but the owners manual that comes with the X Bones has nothing in it for the X Bones. I know the basics are the same, but nothing on the springer front end or seat info for the spring seat.

The owners manual that came with my XBones is the 2008 Softail Models Owners Manual and it has the XBones info in it, such as adjusting the seat, removal, etc. The part number is 99469-08A. Jerry
