I have the bassani fishtails . An I’m wanting to change the fishtail an do steady custom chikla pipes . The bassani headers are 2.25 , the chiklas are 2-1/8 . Will it work or is the anything I can buy to make up the 1/8 in difference? Tia
In theory you could use an "exhaust adaptor sleeve", if that size is not available commercially you`ll need to visit a custom muffler shop
However, it may add length and alter your mounting point locations.
It also might be less than attractive

A muffler shop should be able to cut you a couple of "sleeves" that have the correct ID & OD to fill the gap.
Slide them over the smaller tube, then push the larger tube over the outside, then clamp away.
