Hello all,
I have gone through about 6 oil and trans fluid changes since I've owned my Fatboy. I have been using the Mobil 1 V twin full synthetic. My question is; Will it matter what oil I use as long as it stays V-twin Full Synthetic?
I doubt it, someone else will come up with something else like should i start my bike weekly when it is -10 degrees and let it run for 5 minutes while sitting in the garage as i drink a warn bud light.
as far as I'm concerned. as long as you use a quality v-twin motor oil the brand doesn't matter. they are all good.
I use straight dino oil from the moco for, well, since I started riding in the 70's with no oil related issues.
have never used synth oil.
