SSCYCLE makes a Crank Case for M8 Touring only. This is not fair for all of use who want to build big HP on a Softail M8. I myself have litterally been turned down by Gms engine builder because Greg would build me an engine without the Crank Case. He said with the power I would be putting on my low rider I would definitely crack the case. I reached out to SSCYCLE and have wrote several emails with no replies. Does anybody know if and when they will make the cases for the M8 models or a good alternative manufacturer?
Kind of, in my opinion. Let me get this straight and please correct me if I'm wrong. A vendor does not make a particular part for your bike. So you feel that this is "not fair".
It kind of sounds like a little kid stamping his feet when he doesn't get his way.
So, let me get this straight. I buy a 22k Low rider S call gms racing engines wanting to build out my motor to some serious HP, speak to Gregg Dahl who is one the best engine builders in the entire country and he wont build an engine for me until SScycle makes a Crankcase because he believes 100% that when he gets done the OEM case will eventually fail causing me to lose track time and thousands of dollars and Im a little kid stomping my feet because my build is on the shelf over a ****in case. I wrote the post in hope that it would push SScycle to manufacture the case since they already do for the touring models and the first response to my thread is a immature bully **** head with a rude and childish remark mocking the point of what Im trying to get at. Someone that couldnt even handle a 6sec bike let alone afford to build one. Get off my thread and let real people share their opinion on whether or not a case is need and maybe someone who can shed some light on when one will be coming out.

S&S will not do it because there is no market for it. You say race engine what are you expecting to have built. You say track time, what kind of track .
Called Hillside spoke to Scott same answer. 🤦🏻♂️ I bought the wrong bike without researching before hand. They both believe they are not producing Softail m8 crankcases yet due to patent issues. I also found out they are going to make them just wish it was sooner. Greg believes it will be sometime this summer or at the end of the season for next year. Anyways I will wait it out I know I could get away with the OEM case but Imagine a blown 80k motor over a cracked case not really a forum junkie. Best of luck to you fellas Im out

There's always the option to scroll by posts that don't help you out and use the ones you find useful. As someone stated earlier you appear to want a part that there is not high demand for. And now you're pissed because there doesn't seem to be any or many who make said part. That is the long and the short of it. If you think a post on this forum is going to drive a manufacturer to conjure up the part for you, I wish you luck.
If you want to continue to perpetuate juvenile online arguments with total strangers, I guess you're welcome to do that too.
