Well, getting ready to put things back together again. Be aware when thinking going to the 504's. The length of the switch assembly wires are too close for comfort. I rather have a bit more slack. I ended up making extension wires using HD male and female pins. I had access to a crimper and color coded wires so came put real nice. Basically the novello kit at $50 or do it yourself for $10.
My question is:
I want to check out the wiring connections before putting the tank and consoleback on. Am I right in thinking that I can hook the battery back up, without the tank and console, and make sure my switch assemblies, my new heater relay circuit, etc,all check out? I guess, worse case I could also connect the console and rest on the frame to be complete.
