Default Breakout

I have a 2014 Breakout that I kicked the foot controls forward 3" and put floorboards onto. Was thinking about a heel/toe shifter. Any recommendations? Don't pretty much all Harleys share the same spline size for the levers?

The heal /toe shifters have a part # suffix of "82". So most likely the same splines since 1982...

I added a Heel/toe shifter to my 2001 FXSTS Springer. I did it by buying the shifter lever and foot shift levers from a Heritage of my same year. The parts fit my bike perfectly..

IF you used aftermarket mounts to move them forward 3" and add the footboards, the following may not apply....

You should be able to do it by buying HD shift levers for a 2014 Heritage.

You will need the two shift levers (pedals) #33895-82E that you shift with your foot. You will also need another shift lever peg #34611-65A. The heel/toe levers are straight, the single shift lever (#34564-90B) has a right angle to it to elevate it. You will also need the inside shift lever #33668-07, that connects to the transmission with the shifter rod. Your model will have a single spline lever (#33660-07) for the single foot lever and the Heritage will have dual spline lever #33668-07 for the two (heel & toe) foot levers.

Here is the parts finder for your 2014 Breakout:

Here is the parts finder for the 2014 Heritage:

https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...e67e3896c803/y

You can double check the different part numbers for yourself. Just to make sure I didn't make a typo...

Here is what the final conversion looks like on my FXSTS Springer, that I switched from a single shift lever to heel/toe shift levers.

Thanks for the reply hattitude, yours came out good. didn't think about the shift lever. I see you are from Cali, hope you get to ride year round. Here in Maine we get about 8 months then break out the snowmobiles.

Born and raised in Upstate NY.

Bought my first Harley in May 1978.... by Sept. 1978 I was riding it to SoCal because of the weather.... For the first 4 years in SoCal, my only transportation was a Harley..

Been out here ever since...

I have a couple cars now, but I am lucky...... It is very rare that a week goes by without at least one ride on one of my bikes....
