Just picked my 23 Heritage from winter storage and tweakings, which included a reach seat.
That seat really shoves you forward! Makes reaching the shift lever and brake pedal easy.

Ah, but there are some warts with the Reach seat. Now remember, this is based on a whole 1.5 hours ride today.
It's kinda wide at the front, which puts pressure on the inside of the thighs, especially when reaching down to the ground.
It's a bit narrow under the butt, so there's more pressure on the seating bones.
I think, but I'm not certain, that it's actually got me up higher than the stock seat. Not a problem, but I think so. Probably from scooting me so far forward.

All in all, I'm happy with it. But I'm not sure I want to travel all day with it.
Grade of B, maybe C.

Oh, and the pillion seat fits, of course. Though Harley says it won't.

I was looking for a shorter shift lever to make a heal shifter for my Deuce. I used an inside shift lever that is used on some FLHTC Harleys. It Works great except it is not threaded for the peg. You will have to replace the peg bolt with a longer one and place a nut on the backside.

Nothing better than getting your bike ready for the season! It's the biker equivalent of groundhog saying spring is right around the corner 😁. I was pretty sure I was gonna need a vertically challenged rider seat, so I got an Ultimate seat. I need a backrest, otherwise it's not a lot of fun riding after 20 min or so 😕. I emailed them first to see what they could do for my height, and they did tweak it a bit so it fits me better. I haven't rode more than 45 min twice so far, so I can't give a verdict on the comfort level yet. Keeping my fingers crossed though as I take a few road trips during the year.

I ordered a shifter from Amazon, not real expensive. I hope it holds up with use . . . won't have it on til next weekend though. Fingers crossed that it works.

I also added a nylon washer to make the shift lever come to the end of the shaft. I got it at the hardware store for 30 cents.

I failed to mention This lever is very inexpensive.
