Default 2007 Heritage fuel pump issues
A buddy of mine has a 2007 Heritage. The fuel pump does not turn off. It also comes on as soon as the battery is connected, with all switches off. He said that once he saw fuel coming out from behind the air cleaner he disconnected the power from the battery. Any help and or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Probably the regulator. You can replace the entire assy including the pump and filter pretty inexpensive and easy. Quantum Fuel Systems or many others. JP Cycle, Amazon, EBay, etc.

While you’re in there, it would probably be a good idea to replace the fuel filter if it hasn’t been changed recently.

On that year replace everything in the tank!
