I use Dunlop American Elites on all my bikes.... '16 Bagger, '01 Springer, & '03 Heritage. As soon as my "new to me" '16 Low Rider needs tires, they will be American Elites too.
IMHO..... The Dunlop American Elites are much better in ride, traction, and wear than the OEM Dunlops.
I just changed out the AE's on my bagger last week. It has a high horsepower 124" crate engine, and while I ride rather sedately, I do play a little. It is also my touring /trip bike so is often loaded up for one or two...
I got 18K miles on the rear, it is almost to the wear bars. The fronts could have gone another 1K or 2K miles (maybe more)... but I have a 2000 mile trip coming up at the end of July, and wanted to start on fresh tires...
PS- I believe Dunlop has a rebate going on with the AE tires through the month of June... They seem to have a rebate going on almost all the time, but there is one currently running...
