Default 110 Upgrade Help

Need some assistance here gents. So did the 110” upgrade on my slim. Looks like the heads don’t match the barrels? Is this normal? Or do I have to upgrade the heads? And if so I’ll have to review my documents to see if I got F’d. I’ve attached some pics.

The cylinders are as they should be. Looks like someone painted your heads at some point. They used to be powder coated black and had have highlighted fins like the cylinders.

It is a ‘17 and the engine was all original wrinkle black from the factory I wasn’t sure if the heads should match the barrels like every other HD engine or if the dealership messed up ordering the parts.

I would have thought the kit came with upgraded heads.

Without going through several SE catalogs, I think the only color options for 96" and 103" to 110" is black highlighted and granite highlighted, no solid black that I recall. There are also kits that have heads, throttle body, cams and of course cylinders. It all depends on what you ask them for.

So after further investigation the base 110 upgrade reuses your existing heads. Wonderful. More money.
