Crok,
Love the black bars, they fit the bike perfectly.
Congrats on the new arrival and make damn sure you ride safe.
That's too nice a ride to let some cager screw up, or you for that matter.

Ride safe my friend. [sm=biker2.gif]

thanks for all of the love.

frank, thanks on the bars. My goal was to take all of the features I loved on the FXSTC and put them on the FXSTB since I could not choose between the two models (thanks to hdforums for the idea)

The air cleaner is a forcewinder. I will snap off some pictures when my better half gets home and throw them up here.

Why does it matter if people can see your license plate?

Crock,
Congrats on the new bike. You're gonna have a blast. Enjoy and ride safe!

I'll keep that in mind, but for now I have the right balance of black to chrome.
My current "mission" is to replace all the crappy cad or zink plated junk hardware withpolished stainless steel, or chrome if I can't find a stainless replacement.

I don't worry about it, if anyone wants to steal my bike, fine.
They just have to ask themselves if stealing a Harley is worth the hospital time a couple of .357Mag. or 12ga. rounds will get them.
That's only if my shooting is a bit "off" that day.

just don't shoot em in the back. Make sure it is a chest shot. A guy here just got put in prison for life because he wasted some dude who was trying to to steal his car. If he would have got him from the other direction, he could have claimed self defense..even though the crook had a tire iron in his hand and very well could have been armed.

Use the 12 guage, it makes such a mess it's really hard to tell which side you shot from.
