Hello.
I am a new owner of a FXST 1999 mod .I love the bike but think the stock turnsignals has to be changed.
Have been thinking of a kit of silver bullets like on the Deuce.See pictures.
Anyone have done this?Is there a kit for changing to these ones?
Is there some other nice alternatives?
Anyone have some tips?
Jens
Yep, your local HD dealership has Deuce style kits. I think aftermarket places like J&P have them also. I just recently put the HD kit on a buds FX. Easy strsight forward swap.
If I were you, I would start with Harley Davidsons on line accessories catalog to get an idea of what the company has. Then poke around here to see what other guys have and or recomend for company names and check those web sites for more "goodies".
Unfortunatly being in Norway isn't going to make getting some pieces easier or cheaper but if you check around here there are at least a couple of other guys in your part of the world, like the UK and Germany. Maybe they canhelp you find places that will ship parts to you without having to pay any more than you need to under the VAT system.
Good Luck and have fun customizing, just remember WE WANNA SEE LOT'S OF PIC'S.
