Thisdelay going to upset a lot of people, sorry about the bad news. Does anyone know the reason for the delay?[sm=imsorry.gif]
To make people choose another bike, They know the Rocker and Rocker C will sell like hotcakes, so delay their release and hope that buyers will choose something else.
Wife just got a call here in Southern AZ, Said she'll have to wait until Dec....What drag. Since I bought my Roadglide at the same dealership, said they would honor the MSRP. Hope this holds true in light of the last few postings....[:-]
I ordered my bike on July 10 and put down the $500 and on my receipt it shows the remainder of my bill. So I don't think the dealer will be able to jack the price up on your bike.
The only reason my price will be going up is because I'm putting all of the bells and whistles on. Anything I buy before or on the delivery date I get a 20% discount.
Since I bought my Roadglide at the same dealership, said they would honor the MSRP...
In light of Harley's current sales situation, jacking up the price would be a totally dumbass thing for a dealer to do.But then again, nothing Harley dealers do with regards to pricing surprises me.
I just got a call from my dealer who said my Rocker C is being shipped for delivery on October 7. I was originally told the delay would be until the first week of November, so this was great news. I won't celebrate until the bike is here, but it is better news than I have had lately. Anyone else get a similar call?
Called my dealer yesterdayhere in Southern Arizona....he talked with the factory rep later that day and got and unequivical "Aint gonna happen till Dec, maybe even later"...what a drag. When my wife asked him what the hold up was she was told about some parts that needed anodizing, plating, buffing......something, and thatnew assemblers needed to be trainded in how to do it. Seems it's supposed to be a bit tricky to get it done right.
