What size cam would be a decent up grade for my 97 fxstc

 

A lot of folks went with Andrews EV27 cam for that motor.

 

What kind of riding do you do?

 

I always thought the Andrews EV3 was great in a stock motor. EV27 is a good cam, but the EV3 always felt snappier when grabbing throttle.

 

I run an EV27 with a Mikuni HSR42 - screamin eagle ignition - FXSTC - very low end grunt-worthy and pulls well up through 65-70 but does flatten out a bit - I do a lot of town ridin and like the low end pull and bark - great lumpy idle - running staggered duals with baffles

 

Plus 1 for the EV 3. No complaints at all. Good mid range torque.
