I have an 07 Heritage Classicwith 4,760 miles and one year old. One of my saddle bagson the top lidlooksmucholder, withbad faded out spots all on the toppart. Ikeep my bike in the garage when parked, I have alwayskept up my bags usinggood conditioner onthem. Anyone have any Ideal what Ican usethat will cover these's faded out spots oris there a dye that might cover the spots. Is this a common problem with leather bags on the Heritages, anyone else experience this problem?
I don't think its uncommon with any kind of leather product. Look at any good pair of leather boots, they all have spots that fade faster than others.
Sonar_chris mentioned Doc Bailey's and he's right, its good stuff, but if you can't get it. I think a good grade of black leather boot dye (Kewi) will probably do as well.
Thanks chris, a friend of mine also hadsaid to tryDoc Bailey's it was real good stuff. I will purchase some and if it dosen't work on the saddlebags then, I will use it on my chaps and boots.

Also forgot to mention that some black shoe polish will help keep them black in between Doc Bailey's coatings. Only problem with this is that it may rub off on your passengers pants or your pants if you rub up against them for a couple of days afterwards.
I"m going over to my friends house tomorrow and he has a bottle of doc-bailey's. I will be giving it a try I think that's about as good as it gets. Thanks for the help!!
