Has anyone used the RB Racing 2-1 pipes? How did you like them? Going to do a HQ build and may go to a 2-1 pipe, if I canstand taking off myRinehardts.Oh, did they make that much power over the other 2-1s?
I just purchased the LSR C style, you won't be disappointed. Chroming is top notch, welds are fantastic. I'm sure you'll hear other opinions on this subject though. Took 9 weeks from order to arrival.
They won't make any more power than another well matched 2 into 1 pipe in my opinion.
They do a great job on their website convincing you that their pipe will do everything but make you breakfast.
If you match a decent 2 into 1 to your engine then you'll be fine.
If you're stock then it doesn't much matter...pick the one you like that looks the nicest. If you're modified then it becomes a little more difficult but the Fat Cat from D&D and RBR are two of the best....Pro Pipe from V&H can make some nice power and that's about it from my experience and research on the subject.
I agree with Hammer02! I also have D&D 2 in 1 header, but its a Boarzilla, just more upswept, go to the D&D Exhaust web site they give specs., dynos, prices, they dyno every header they sell! If you want about 10 more H.P. & 15 L.B.S. of Tourqe buy a set, but you need a SERT or another type tunener, but best if you could have bike Dyno-Tuned after Header in-stall, my penny, PURPLE HAZE.
There is a lot of forum grandstanding BS in these and other RBR bashing threads on many forums. I think they get it worse than say, VH, because they lack the manpower and marketing/PR to address this kind of feedback. I can't say that I have seen anyone say RBR pipes do not perform. Almost all complaints appear to be related to customer service. That's a missed point for many people.
The company may not be completely innocent in everything but its hard to argue that the customers do not have a significant responsisbility for making the situation worse. Deep breaths are in order for everyone.
Although I must confess I am glad to read so many bad reviews. The more of those there are, the fewer of you will buy their exhaust, and the more likely I am to be the only kid on my block with RBR pipes on my scoot.
So, here's to you, Mr. RB Racing Exhaust Basher.......(Que Budweiser commercial music here)

Better check these links out before you make a move on LSR...
I've got the c-style on my NT. Hard to go wrong with either, not many run them. Loud as hell when you crank on them, still loud when you don't. Chose them over D+D for the ground clearance. No problems with customer service, very friendly. Answered all the ?'s I asked. Told me 4 weeks when I ordered them and that's when the came. Gonna use them on the Redneck framed sporty I'm building also.
I just swapped out my Vance & Hines BSS for the new Rinehart 2 into 1. I really like the new set up. The pipes are quieter than the VH but still have some bark when you hit the throttle. Have a nice deep rumble tone. I agree, most 2 into 1 pipes are probably all about the same in terms of performance. So just find one you like with a good quality finish. Good luck.
just put on V&H 2-1 Big Radius - loud (wouldn't want them any louder), low and rumbly. Can feel a performance gain and they got the looks too. Actually the only 2-1 system that I personally like look wise.
