Default Tail light

Any suggestions on what to use to get rid of the ugly rear tail light bar on my Heritage and make it one unit. Can I use a Street Glide unit or one of those all-in-one units sold on Amazon/Ebay?

Just to give you a rough idea of the look with a Street Glide taillight assy.

This is my `89 Heritage, filler panels welded onto sides of fender, Street Glide taillight.

Like that better than the ugly wide unit that comes stock. Was it plug and play or did you have to custom wire it? Still would like to find something all one unit.

Note that you can use a "bottom window" license plate light when doing this too
