Default Fitting a Power Commander

I have had these on previous Suzukis and I bought one for an 06 Streetbob but could not get the bloody thing to fit anywhere sensible and then sold the bike. I now have an 07 Softail standard.

Can someone who has fitted a PC3 to a Softail kindly show me a picture of where it lives and how easy it was to get there or scan a copy of the install instructions.

All help appreciated.

cheers

Didn't they provide you with any instructions? Per DynoJet, it's supposed to go in front of the rear tire...between the bike and the rockguard. They you route the pig tails up and connect. Pretty simple.

Hi there Surly - you may find the following link is what you need. Seems a bit of a squeeze - good luck.

Yes with the PC III tie wrapped in place it is pretty accessable between the frame and mud guard. Once you remove the bottom bolt on the mudguard pop it off and slide the mudguard up on the thetop of the tire between it and the fender and you've got almost 8 inches of clearence to play with. Now that I have done one I could probably do it in 15 mns or less.
