Default Longer Trips on the Night Train

How far have you gone on in on trip on your Night Train. I know they say it is a bar hopper bike but I rode my over 1000 miles this past weekend ( Savannah to Knoxville and back), and enjoyed every minute. I was worried that I would get uncomfortable after riding for a few hours but I did not. Rode the Dragon and the Skyway. Irode several models at the HOG rally but still love the Train. 10,500 miles in 5 months, and I would not trade it for any other bike.Fellow Night Train riders, do you feel the same?

yeah, I guess the longest I did was 1600 miles. down to lake tahoe from seattle area and back. I changed out the drag bars but other than that I was happy. I was even happy on the badlander.

The most miles in one day is 500 for me on the train. So you have me beat bad. I still would not trade it for nothing.

I have done a couple of 800 mile weekends and love every minute of it. Rode with the stock bars and my new bars, very comfortable both ways.

Lower back gets sore after few hundred miles. Most I have done in a day is 400 miles. I am willing to deal with the discomfort, as I like the looks, feel, ride, riding style, ect, ect, ect. There are too many pros to worry about a con. MIND OVER MATTER, IF YA DON'T MIND, IT DON'T MATTER.

My longest has been 1,200 miles in 3 days.. from Austin out to Big Bend, around Big Bend, and back..Going to do it again at the end of September. I was a little worried since I had back surgery about 8 years ago.. but the Saddlemen Gel seat was extremely easy on the butt and the high lumbar support was great.. When I got back neither the back nor butt were sore..

As to date its been 850 miles in 15 hour day my @ss was sore after 200km but you need to gas around every 200 -250 km so every gas = leg strech but as soon as I got to my destination .I was ready for a custo seat I made this post In need of a new seat and from all the feed back I ordered a BAR E gunslinger seat with mem foam .still waiting for it to get here .Cant wait to do it again next year .

Before the 3" Ness forward control extensions, I had issues going over 200 miles.... Now, I could ride all day with stock seat and bars.... being 6"3, stock setting was cramped....

I love my 07 NT. Would not trade it for any other bike.

About 500 is the longest I have tried so far... the lowering kit puts a damper on how long I ride between stops but the newer pullback drag bars are easier on my back,
And I agree with everyone else- wouldn't trade my train for any other bike!
