Is anyone using the Harley "Fatboy Seat w/ rider Backrest" PN-51560-00A, I have some back problems and am looking for a seat with a backrest I can put on for longer rides, Have a Sundowner now, its alright for shorter rides but doesn't do much for me on longer hauls. Any opinions appreciated.
I have had no experience with this company but it may be something for you to investigate. It appears they can reshape your factory seat to provide better lower back support.
Is this the one you are talking about?
If so, I highly recommend it. I 've had 2 lower back surgeries including a fusion and I don't think I could ride as much as I do without it. I'm not sure of the part #, my Fatboy is a 1999. I've done 200 mile days with no problems. Anything more than that just means I stop more frequent and do some stretching.
