Thanks guys. Here is a few more pics of the 1995. I do notice that the headlight seems to be mounted in a different position than stock on this than others ive seen. Maybe aftermarket headlight?

Yeah that looks like a Bates copy. The OE one had a longer body and (I think) was larger diameter?? Certainly had a longer teardrop body to it. Bates looks good on the though.
ok thanks, if it was an OE on it, would it have a number somewhere on it? I'm not familiar with Bates. I can't find any info when i google bates springer.

It looks like a Harley springer front end with a bates style headlight assembly. Any side pixs of the bike? It almost looks like a bad boy springer.
Thanks. Yeah I'm just a bit concerned since @Southernspeed said it looked like a copy.
I'm guessing there is not a serial number on the oem front ends that can be checked.
I was referring to the headlight being a bates style light, being a copy (unlikely it's a genuine bates. The front end itself looks legit. There is likely casting numbers on the 'trees' that may have a -95 part number. I'm not aware of any after market springers that cloned the OE ones that closely.
