Default progressive fork springs

I found a good deal on a new set of progressive 422 shocks so I decided to go ahead and order the progressive fork springs. I’ll order the standard springs unless someone here has advice that I need the heavy duty springs. I weigh about 190 fully clothed and it appears the HD fork springs are for riders over 225 lbs. I ride solo.

The shocks are Progressive 422-4037C standard spring without the RAP.

Consider installing some Ricors as well along with the springs. Improved ride and they almost completely eliminate brake dive on your front end. Not cheap but worth it.

why would you want to eliminate brake dive ?
I find it useful to give it a "kick" when pushing backward, front brake on push down, let go of brake, and let the spring action give you a boost backing up.
also doesnt the brake dive put more pressure on the front wheel when braking hard ? (i/e transfers more weight to the front wheel )

just a question

It changes the steering geometry of the bike for one. Load your front suspension too much with front brake in a curve you run the risk of your front end washing out when it rebounds. Also, why would you want to sacrifice to much of your suspension in the event you experience rough pavement?
My suspension is for riding my bike, not pushing it around the garage.
Set your front end up correctly and you will observe it following every contour of the road with no chassis movement, not just responding to bumps.

Note that Harley / Honda/ Yamaha ( probably others) have engineered brake activated systems to do just that

BMW and Honda have both created entirely different front suspension designs for the same reason
