Its coming slowly. I got a lot of fab work done already. Still need to pull the forks and shave the fender mounts off, Ill probably polish them too. I need to finish some grinding on the swing arm and do just a little bit more welding then Ill have to pull that and get it powder coated. I need to finish working on the exhaust too. Not sure what I want to do with that. I was able to finish up the sissy bar yesterday, that took about a week to do, there was a lot more work involved in that than I thought there would be but Im really happy with the outcome. I started working on a wire diagram this morning. I want to use what was already on the bike if I can.
Does anyone know what is the smallest size battery I can use for this bike? I want something that fits down in the battery box, the stock battery is too tall for what I want to do.

You could look at some of the lithium offerings. Most now come in cases the same size of the OEM batteries, but when they first came out, they were much smaller... People had to use padding to keep them form bouncing around in the battery boxes...
I'm not a liyjium fan yet, but it could give you the cranking power you need in a smaller package...
The Shorie is a Lithium Iron, and the size of an animal cracker box. I have one that has been in one of the bikes since 2014. Expensive, and I won't do it again, but they are super small, weigh less than a box of matches, and do last. They do not like cold though.
Foot clutch and hand shifter installed. Found the door **** at an antique store, thought itd give it a cool look. Im a sucker for brass, every bike I build I put brass accents on.
started wiring today. Took the main harness schematic and pretty much got rid of anything unnecessary. Took a few days to draw out. So far I have the starting and ignition systems wired up and I was able to fire it up today.
