Just wondering where I could find an l.e.d. tailight that will fill my entire fender. I have a 2005 FXSTI and I can only find them to fit up to 1999. Any help would be much appreciated.
I don't know where you can buy one but with a little time you can make your own. All you need to do is buy your L.e.d light and build a bracket . The stock light is easy to remove. Just make a jig out of cardboard, go to a sheet metal shop and get a square foot of stainless and cut it out. There are 2 holes on eather side inside the fender to attach it to. It takes some time but I have an 04 FXST and couldn't find any thing under $250 that would work so I did it my self. Seems like Joker or something like that was the one for $250. You can see a picture of my light in my gallery.
Clammy,
I have the panacea tailight along with the smoke bullet style turn signals, but I wish Kuryakyn had the bobtail light in a smoke like they have the low profile panacea...
It sure lets folks know that you are stopping or turning!!
