Depends on what you need.
A head turner and day rides - Deluxe.
A bike that will take you across the country or remove the bags and windscreen and have a sweet cruiser - Heritage.
I would go with the Deluxe, the Heritage with that color those wheels and bags is one butt ugly bike.
Plus you might get them to come down a bit more on the price.

Based on two quotes from your post: "I love chrome" and "ugly gray color", the choice has already been made...it's the Deluxe!
Good luck with your decision and enjoy whichever bike you buy!!
Consider this the Deluxe 500 miles just sitting for the last five year. You are going to need new tires, all oils changed, possible brake shoes, then since it has not been run dried out hoses, gaskets and so on. Even on the low end 1500.00 more. Myself I would stay away from this bike. Now the Heritage new 2 year warranty, 117. is a no brained also I don't think the fees will be that high. Maybe shipping and assembles no more that 800.00 anything after that I would the that dealer to keep it, I am sure there other dealers out there.
I would go with the Heritage. All the benefits of a new bike. Given the way the market is now, you can probably get the new bike with no fees. I would test ride each bike before making your decision.
My thoughts: The Deluxe looks so much better to me. The gray/ blacked out Heritage is ugly. A stage 2 107 vs a stock 117, you're not giving up much in the power department. I would replace the tires due to age. Roughly $1000. Flush the clutch and brake fluids. It's a service item at 2 years. I guessing roughly $200. The initial oil, trans, primary service is due at 1000 miles, so that does not need to be done immediately . 1000 mile service at the Dealer $400-500. So for less than $2000 you have an as new bike. Certainly less than the $9,000 more the ugly Heritage would cost and at 1000 mile you would have to service it too.
If you feel better with a warranty you may still be eligible for a Harley extended warranty. I don't know want that cost.
Buy the Deluxe!
Neither
I would not buy a bike with 500 miles and no warranty unless cheap. You don't know if any problems that would have appeared during warranty. I want few thousand miles.
Plus 500 or 5k miles is just a year of riding and no big deal
Unless you really want brand new bike I would look at something used with 5-10k miles on it, with lower price.
