2007 hd duece issue
I recently purchased a used 2007 hd softail duece. Previous owner road it over to my house to deliver it to me. So i know it runs. He said he dosen't have a fob for it. The i can use the security code to start it. He gave me the code and told me how to do it. Problem is. that it won't let me have access to put in the code. I've watched soo many videos over, and over, and tried again, and again. But it won't pop up the the 5 spots on the odometer to put the code in. This is getting irritating at best.

Duece issue
He tried two different times to do it as well. He said it's been doing it to him occasionally since he had it. But I like the bike. So my next step is to take it to the hd dealership, and have them check it out. I think the left turn signal switch is the issue it feels janky at best. Maybe its not making good contact and dosen't know im pressing it. So it wont access the code input option is what im guessing. It has been dropped on that side and the handlebar is bent and the tank is dented on that side. I made a list of things im going to replace on it. I did a vin search for it. Not stolen, and hasn't been in a wreck.

Duece issue
I wish I could have all that security crap removed, and have it set like the bikes im used too. Inset key, turn key to on position, flip switch on right handel bar to run, push start button. Or the like the one I first started on. Insert ke,y turn to on, flip switch on the right handel bar, and kick it off. But noo. Harley davidson has to be extra. Maybe it can be,retro fitted??

I seen it run. it just won't do it for me. He even drove it to my house to drop it off. I live over a hour away from him. If I had the fob it wouldn't be a issue. I know the guy personally and I bought it to do him a favor.

My 07 ULTRA doesn't have the security system and I'm very happy without it!!
And I'm fairly certain you can remove that crap and have it run like you want seeing they didn't ALL come with it.
IM just not 100% you can just remove it and off ya go.........
