I have the 95 fatboy with the 80 motor. Would like to up it in HP. Whats a good bolt on option? Cylinders and pistons? How much can I go. Looking at upper end to 96 or 106 kit, Anybody do this? Thanks
To get to a 96 will require splitting the cases, boring them and adding a 4 5/8 crank. Best you can do with that motor is increase compression, better heads, cam, carb / exhaust.
Maybe you are skinny but one of the easiest ways to go faster is lose a whole heap of weight, you will be faster and live longer as long as you dont crash.
Failing that you can spend a fortune doing incremental changes or sell your stock engine and buy a big S and S. Bolt that in and call it done.
No matter what you end up doing budget for brakes and suspension.
