Default common problems

Howdy,
I'm wondering if there is a thread or forum of common problems folks are having with their M8 engines and/or Softail models.
I tried a search. But I am having a hard time navigating this site, which is obvious since I've been answering year old posts thinking they were sent to me recently. I don't have any pre-school age kids around to help me, a very low tech person.

I just bought a 2024 Softail Standard, but just sold my 75 year old Harley that I rode for 43 years, so I am completely ignorant of the workings of any of the Harley types since the Panheads.

Thanks.

Oh my, wished you had done a little more searching. Big mistake. One ought to know a 75 year old Harley is a good one.

Worth repeating, they don't make them like that anymore.

Well, I've had some injuries in the 75 years I've been around and was getting to the point I was having a bit of trouble kick starting it. The rigid frame was aggravating as well. I rode it less and less due to pain, so I ley it go to someone who could enjoy it more. I never wanted a bike that didn't have a kick start, but looking forward to hitting the button now.
