Just for info. If someone is away from a site for a length of time, their post count goes to zero but the joined date remains. That time frame is different with the several operating platforms that sites use.
Our Triumph site it is as little as 6 mths absence to get cleared to zero.

The forum should also show a count of how many times a member has been banned.
Although there is one poster in this thread that would roundly disagree with that.

Not sure if Mod's can see that count, but as an Admins, I can check all kinds of things on members including Bans, warnings, IP's and locations time on the site, posts, ect.. All the pertinent data.
Not sure why a site mod's would do more than one ban warning like 30 days and if not corrected, the Perma ban forever. That is how I do it for a member that just gets out of line and needs a little butt kick to get back in line. Most get a verbal - after that out comes the cannon. I do not mess with the 30 day deal very often, only the ones I feel just got too mouthy and knew better. .

What have I ever done out of line? People just don't like my opinions, so they cause a big fuss. Plus it is all who you like. Threads are rampant *** grabs. But those people fall on floor about derailment
Unlike most people in this thread I discussed the topic. And asked why does a guy. Need to be a jerk..
Mr. R, my response you quoted, was not aimed for anyone, and is nothing more than info of what Mods and Admins deal with on the site I am part of. It was not directed at you.
I know that you received a Ban some time ago and no idea what it was about, but they let you come back. That is a rarity on my site as an Admin. Have you had more than that one Ban ?

I have been banned by mods out to get me. I called someone a troll from Michigan. It is Michigan term for living below the bridge.

But name something I have done.
Here you go again. Prolonging the derailment.
Asking why a guy needs to be a jerk is not on topic. The topic is an oil pressure sensor.

Yeah, Rounders, the mods are out to get you. Just like you thought MarlinSpike's post was about you. You're paranoid and you are incapable of letting something go. You have to get the last word in.
