I just bought some HD mirrors with the LED indicators in them. Now I know they say that they are purely supplimentary markers etc etc But I want to use them as my main indicators so I can have cleaner bars. Has anyone done this?
I'm wondering if I need to use some load equalisation, and if so how much? The harness that comes with the mirrors is rather complex and needs you to have the stock lights hooked up also. I just want to use the mirrors to replace the stock lights so I want to just plug the mirror lights into the stock sockets, but I am guessing it ain't quite that simple.
Thanks FXSTD! Melbourne eh? I was born in Melbourne! In Perth these days, but get back to Melb when I can. One of the world's great cities, no doubt about it.
I'll try pulling apart the harness that Harley supplies with the mirrors to see if they use any load EQ in there. I'm sure it CAN be done, just dunno how.
