Default Need info. on Cone type intakes

Any info you guys can give me on the cone style intakes would be great?

Where to buy them?
What brand?
Will I need to retune my bike if I already have a SE A/C Kit?
Are they any good?

My wife saw one on a fatboy today and loved it, I have liked them for a while now.

thanks

Yeah I would like to know if you get a little more power, did you get your new Harley Catalog? They have them for our bikes but I belive the mount and K&N comes out about (I'M GUESSING) $300.00 or more, I think they look good, but if you areever caught in rain we would need the pre-filter, its a sock like bag that fits over filter and is fine enough to get air and does not let water inter filter. Toby in my Catalog on page 520 they have the (HEAVY BREATHERS) for $299.95 and rain sock is included with the buy, part number for our bike is 29299-08 and it says recalibration is required for engine to rev. to 6200 R.P.M., I would like one but $300.00 plus another Dyno, at Lone Star Harleys new shop they have state of the art Dyno and the price is $360.00!!!! I paid $200.00 at Bedford Harley, I wonder if they have gone up to??!!! $660.00 my wife would kill me! PURPLE HAZE.

I bought one and put it on.. Man that filter is BIG.. Everything else looked good but the Giant filter. I removed it and now I have found a K&N filter that is about 1/3 the size, I'm gonna try it again.. Made no differance on the Dyno though compared to the AN Big Sucker, I tryed for a couple hours, and it's for looks mostly.. But there Cool looking and Quality is Excellent..

Yeah Toby good to here from you also, I'm in the middle of extending my kitchen, (making it larger) and money is tight, have you been to the new Lone Star Harley Dealer? They had a bike like mine but it was silver and low miles 06 model but they wanted what I paid for new!! They are trying to get all that money for new building!! Your bike would be bad *** with the Fat Cat & Heavy Breather on your sled! I bet your H.P. & Tourqe would be at the very least 10 or more! Have you gone by Cycle Dyne yet? Good people, not real high on prices, hope all is well with you, your family, and your BIKE, how is it running? Lets keep in touch, later TOBY. PURPLE HAZE. TOM.

All is good here, been busy with work. I was in the new dealership today, my wife bought some HD clothes. Some really nice bike in there. Nice building too. I have not been to cycle dyne yet, still getting money together for exhaust, chrome front end, etc. The list goes on.

I think that if you have a SERT your rev limit will already be raised to 6200 RPM, so you probably wouldn't need another dyno tune.

Someone else correct me if I am wrong...
