I've got an '07 Fat Boy, so I don't think I can help with your measurements.

However, I will tell you that windshields, as they relate to Harleys, are a challenging enigma from what I've seen... I had the stealer install one when I bought my bike, but they installed a different shield (clear) than what I requested (smoked). I also made the mistake of getting the low profile, which I find is a little short for my applicationso I decided to watch for a deal.I've now bought four off of eBay, all extremely cheaply, and only the last one fit the mounts I have. The keeper on the last one is on the inside rather than the outside and is engineered completely differently thanmy styleof mounts. For each of the shields that I have, thereare completely different specifications and measurements for everything from the mount spacing, the height and width of the mount brackets, the bolt patterns for the shield attachment, etc... no wonder Harley's production costs are so high. Out of the five I have, there are no interchangable parts between them.

Good luck- I'm sure someone will give you the measurements you're looking forover the weekend.

Roger

Tunaman...you should sell him your 4 extra shields, maybe one will fit... It's a nightmare trying to find parts that actually fit, especially if your bike is pre-2000. That seems to be the year that HD "deliberately" changed things up so we'd all have to buy "new/upgraded" parts to fit our bikes. On my '03 Springer for example...the mounts for the detachable luggage rack are exactly 1.5 inches shorter than the pre-00's so no early racks fit. Seats won't fit properly either trying to cross-match. Oh well....got to keep the dealers in business you know...[&:]

Hehehe... yeah, I'll probably put them up in the classifieds, as soon as I can get good pics and measurements (so the next guy knows for sure what they're getting).

It's like the situation with the hardware... mish-mash of metric and SAE bolts across the range??? What's up with THAT?!?!?!
