I have one on my other bike ( Honda ) andI'm thinking about putting one on my Heritage too. The modulator can be turned on/off with a switch and it automatically disables the modulator atdusk. It pulses about two times a second from full brightness to about 1/3 brightness, it doesn't shut the headlight off between pulses. Over the past year i had 2 drivers pull up to me saying i have a short or loose wire on my headlight. A few times cagers flash there headlights back at me, maybe it gets them mad but it got theirattention and gets you noticed. I turn it off when I'm out of the city on the highway or country road. I often notice cagers that look like they were going to pull out in front of me as if they are looking through me and then slam on their brakes.
