08 custom colors
I've got an 08 Fatboy on order and although I love black, I wanted something different. I was talking to HD and theywere finally able to showme a color chip for 1 of the 3 custom colors they have for the Fatboy..."purple haze". It gets darker, almost black as the light decreases but the metal flake really shines in the sun. Has any one seen this color on any of the softail models yet?

Haven't seen it on the bikes yet, but I was looking at it on Harley's website a few days ago, and thought it looked really fine, even though I'm sure the computer screen doesn't do it justice. Looked especially good on the big, clean fenders like the Fat Boy and Deluxe.[sm=coolness.gif]

Thanks for the heads up about it being on their site. It doesn't look particularly great on the computer but neither does the red...until Isaw it on an 08 Fatboy that just came into HD...it was like night and day difference...in fact, it's my 2nd choice...just to havesomething different than black, which is by far the most favorite color
