K2,
Congratulations on the new bike! The color your chose is one of my favorites for that bike. I can't wait to see pictures. I hope you have a decent size bank account, because this site sure will cause it to get smaller! I'm waiting to pick up my new Custom from the shop. I've had parts on order forever and now it's just a matter of getting it all put back together. About $3,000 worth! If everyone else just rode stock bikes, I wouldn't have to spend as much on mine.
Don't listen to all those guys who are complaining that getting the bike is the cheap part.
That others on this site have caused them to spend outragious amounts of money on their bikes.
Its all a lie, its not nearly as bad as they would have you believe.
IT'S WORSE, FAR, FAR,WORSE, than they let on.
But its alsoa hell of a lot offun.
Ah yes, now the fun part starts. If I remember, once I bought my 07 Deluxe I'd spend about 5 parts thinking about what to add on Vs 1 part actually riding. That's OK, it adds up to 6 times the fun. Make sure you check with the forum before buying any big ticket items. Lots of great advice here.

I have had both the Custom and the Night Train.
If you dont like to clean chrome get the Night Train.
But if you like shiny things get the Softail Custom.
Both are super nice Harleys - You can not go wrong with either one.
Good luck mate!

I will be going to the big smoke at Christmas time to sit with the dealer and work it all out. Can't wait.
