As my buddy warned me I have gotten the sickness. Visions of customization have been going through my head since I bought my Harley. I am going to try and do some modifications this winter. Maybe get some things powder coated and get rid of a little more chrome.
One question I have after seeing it on a VStar in a magazine. Has anyone seen a Eurocomponents Cyclops headlight on a Softail? Small enough to change the look quite a bit just not sure how it would look.
RE: Winter projects - Some changes to my Night Train
I've seen similar headlights on other bikes. Most of them being custom bikes. On some bikes, it looked good. On others, it looked out of place to me. I guess it all depends on the type of look you're going for with your bike. For instance, I think it would look odd on my bike, because it wouldn't flow with the route I'm taking with customization. I think if you have a vision in your head for your bike, you should run with it. Many times, things can look kinda weird until you get everything done and your vision is complete. So if that headlight fits the design you're wanting for your bike, by all means get it.

Thats what makes it hard at times. Visualizing things can be tough. Dont really want to spend the cash and then it look like crap. I am having the same problem with bars. I want to get some that are a bit taller and some pullback but I just cant visualize them
