it's really simple....do you wanna sit up semi straight [pretty damn straight actually]
or lean a bit forward in that sorta "in-between" zone where youre not quite leaning over as to lay on the tank...but not straight enough to really relax your lower back...
i prefer the former...13" flanders apes & stock risers let me put my fists in the wind like superman
[hands slightly higher than shoulders] arms basically level....
drags look cool. but,not for me. I have to have higher bars so my back will not hurt. Later on i will prob go with the same bars that come on the street bob. I think they are 10.5 .
In my sig pic . does it look like the dealer set my bars up pushed to far back towards me ?
Hey it's all about what you want.... I have 8" pullback drags on mine... They are more comfortable thatn the stock drags and look cleaner with the integrater risers and hidden wiring. I do have to admit that they still bother my lower back on longs rides, I can't speak for drag bar comfort but it seems they do give you a more upright position. This thread hasn't helped, looks about 50/50 for drags/apes. Either way there are some real nice bikes here! Good luck and post pics in the NT pic thread when you get your new bars installed!
right now I think, I am going to go with the 14"nash gimps, and carry the old chopper look. At least that is my planfor the winter. I need something whereI am a little more up in the seat, my back ain't the best.....
