Just bought a fatboy going to build an old school Ape Hanger fatboy. Thinking about 18 or 20 inch Apes. Anyone got any pics or recommendations on how high to go? I'm 6'5" so I know I can reach!

The local stealership has a 06 FB up there with some 16"ers on it. I sat on it and it was pretty nice, however I would go bigger on mine for the simple fact that is a bar hopper now that I got the bagger, and I dont have to worry about riding it from CA. to SD.

Yeah, I have an electra glide too, so I'm going for purely cosmetic here. Will definitely put miles on, but probably won't go much further than 100 miles away from home without the creature comforts of CD player, fairing and comfy seat. My first ride was my custom. Rigid.. no windshield (obviously) and a tempermental 120 HP motor. I've turned into a big baby now! I'm almost ashamed of who I am! The geezer glide is sooo nice to ride.
