Default Headlight Flasher Modulator

dI am thinking of installing one of these Headlight Flasher Modulators and want to know if anyone has done it on a Deuce? Is it easy? Is it worth while any pros or cons? Where do you install the Sensor on the Deuce, not alot of room or does it just sit there on cable somewhere?

Most annoying damn things I've ever seen on a bike. LEO doesn't care for them either. Favored by BMW riders.

BTW, you might get more replies if you fill in your profile and introduce yourself properly.

One of the best purchases I've made for safety..
they are legal... never had a cop bother me in 2 years...
Have noticed numerous occassions where I'm sure the modulator attracked attention and kept a cager from pulling out..
Built my own access. box.
Blue arrow master switch to turn on accessory driving lights thru a relay.
Red arrow is the modulator's photoelectric cell.
Yellow arrow switches modulator from steady to modulate.

This is the one I have installed:

PS...I hope it is annoying...

Now I have to repaint my Oil tank tocover those dang arrows ...

My modulator drives the two driving lights located under my headlight..

I agree, the annoyance is the attraction. I do not have one on my bike, however, one of the folks I ride with has one on his Heritage. He always gets the lead position when we ride because he is the most visible. I think they are a good idea. I will be installing one this winter.

I just altered my Profile, I hope this is better, but I am new at this. It comes up with an expression called Hangin Around. I dont know how that got there, nor do I know how to change it. I am not certain, how I am to introduce myself properly, as I have not seen anyone do it before. sorry, but I am trying.

Well I Have One On My 03 Heritage Classic,, Made By PathBlazer. #P115W
I Had To Drill A Small Hole In The Bottem Of My Lamp Bucket, And Put A Rubber Gromet In The Hole ,,Then feed The Sensor Tru The Hole ,, And Put Dum Dum (Clay) Around The Hole Inside The Lamp Bucket.
Then Ran The Sensor Up to The Handle Bare Wires And Tie Warpped It There Up Top So The Sun Will See It. It's Great For Other Drivers To See You Better From Side Streets , Thats Why I Put It On,, Who Know It Might Have Saved My Life A Few Times ,But You Will Never Know If Others Stopped Because They Saw Your Blinking Light, I Would Like To Think So

If Your Really Really Careful You Can Drill A Hole On Top Of The Lamp Bucket And Put The Sensor There Up Top Of The Bucket, Start With A Small Hole,, Its A 10MM /25/64 Hole Or Ream Out To 3/8

You Can E-mail Andy at techsupport@kisantech.com Phone # is 1-719-226-0300
Good Luck I Think It's A Good Thing To Have ,, "One Never Knows Do One"

Billfitt,
THanks for the link... Looks like a good deal. I also have been thinking about getting a modulator. Better to been seen and safe.

You said plug and play install was it really that easy? Did you do the brake light mod also?
