'06 FLSTCI REAR TIRE SIZE

Default '06 FLSTCI REAR TIRE SIZE
I wasn't sure I saw a clear answer (for me) when I searched on this. I want to go to Metzeler tires front and rear. My tire dealer says I need a 150/80/16 on the rear. The Metzeler online catalog shows that the 160/80/16 is the correct (upgrade) size. I'm running all stock gear (laced wheel, fender, brakes, etc.). Will the 160 fit without any modifications the way Metzeler says it will?

Yes it will fit i put them on my 06 and have plenty of room

They also fit fine on my '05 Fatboy,a 130 will also fit on the front.I bought both tires 3 months ago from Ron Ayers for less than $250 delivered,the rear is listed under the Goldwing section.

Hey guys. Just wanted to let folks know. I got the 160 Metz installed - no problem with clearance. Road feel is much better than the Dunlops and handling seems to be better as well. Don't know about wet traction yet - it doesn't rain down here anymore.
