I love mine. This is my 6th bike (1st Harley). I always said I would get a Fatboy, but the Heritage fit like a glove. I wasn't even looking for a bike the day I went in, but am glad I did it. The pipes are starting to get louder as I add the miles (2100 so far). The only two gripes I have (and I can live with them) is the front engine noises that are reflected back off the windshield, and 5th gear in the 45-50 MPH range. Have you noticed that? From what I have been reading here it is a design flaw in the tranny.
My father-out-law bought his 07 Low Rider in May and I rode it...did not like it. My mother-out-law is wanting an 883 low with the Crimson Red like yours.
You got your 20% off at F&S today, right? I was there yesterday, was a great day to ride! (and they are getting numbered)
Aces and Eights is having a sale this weekend too.
The only thing I have added is the 105th windshield pouch and a luggage rack.
Ihave been looking at the mustache bar. We did 300 miles one day and I was wishing I had one to stretch out on.
Yes.i noticed the same things. The noise goes away with the widshield off . Will be going to Aces tomorrow too ! Cool place ,and lots of goods to look at !!
Like you, the Heritage grabbed me. Only stock seat i have ever had on a bike that was perfect ! Looks like i need to buy saddlebag inserts from what iread so i don not get saggy bags . Oh, i am nor crazy about the stock bars. Changing mine to the street bob bars. Like on my last bike .
There is a guy that works at Buckminn's, name is Russ, that makes insets for the top of the bags. I bought the set nd my bags are stiff as a board on top. They slipover the sadllebag opening.I think they were 40 bucks.
I have no problem with the bars. I did have them bring them back 3 inches though. The front brake cylinder was about 1/4 inch from the windshield when I got it.
I was thinking of going to Aces tomorrow as well. Depends on if I get a couple things done first. They do have a nice selection of stuff. Their Wild Bill graphis is one of my favorite HD Dealer graphics.
