Fatboy alignment problem
All dear 2008 fatty owners. The problem you are having is actually very simple. The 2007 flstf had the front tyre slightly offset to the left to correct the traction problems of the 200mm tyre. They said that they fixed the problem on the 2008 models by correcting the geometry. What they have actually done is try to create an offset in the frame and have the front tyre in line (at least to the eyes).
The only way to correct the problem is to check the geometry. put a straight block of wood on both sides an d measure the dist. thn tell me what you read. Make sure that the bike is upright and srtaight

I currently have an 08
street
glide with the same problem. Points slightly right but goes straight and true down the road. Had the same problem dwithe my 05 Heritage. Seems as tho in production and assy, building a straight bike isn't important. Points out quality concerns in production for HD. EZ fix for my glide tho as suggested by my dealer mechanic..
straddle the bike, turn hbar to left as far as you can and reef it hard as you can and it mght help. The glide Hbar is rubber mounted, don't know avout the fboy.
