One of my riding buddies has the hots for a used FX Standard on the showroom floor of this dealer. It's an 03 with 13K miles, basic black carberated 88 with no goodies.

Are there any issues with 03s? I have a friend with an 03 RK and he's glad he bought the extended warranty.. something with the Tranny like 3 times. Just wondering before he plunks 13K down on this bike.

Dealer wants $9.8 for it. I told him to demand an extended warranty with the bike and new rubber as the front tire looks shot.

 

Love my '03...bought it in 05....no problems at all......glad I got it... plan to have it for a looonnnnnnnnng time.
$9.8 sounds like a good price if it's in good condition.
