Does anybody know if the 07 96 inch jugs and pistons will fit an 05 88inch?

If I understand the way they upped the displacement properly the jugs are the same and have the same bore size.
They basically "stroked" the 88 inch motor with a newcrank, rods, and pistons.

There are lots of other little changes inside, but that was the one that upped the size.

Grab yourself one of the big accessory catalogs. They have the Stage II kit which will take an 88" to a 95".

The 95" motor is a big bore which will bring you more top end(and some more low end), the stroked 96" engine will bring you much more torque!!!

you can use the jugs, but they are the same, so you wont be gaining anything. you can't use the pistons though, because the wristpins are mounted higher up in the piston to keep the piston from ramming the head because of the longer stroke.
