Default Passenger Pegs ?

I Just put on the Bar and Shield passenger pegs and have a question to those who have fitted them.

The left side peg does not fold all the way up, It's lucky to be at a 45 degree angle.... The right side fold's all the way up.

From the looks of it, it is hitting the mount that has the pin that hold the peg on it.

Anyone had this problem ?

I haven't had this happen before, but here's something to try:

Swap the internal parts of the pad between left and right sides of the bike. (Loosen and then remove end screws on the outside edge of the foot rest). The pad should slide off from their internal posts that allow a swivel adjustment. Then remove the postsfrom the frame mounts by taking the pins and C-clips out.

In other words, you have the left and right pads on the correct sides, maybe the lengths of those internal swivel posts are different lengths. Doesn't look like very much length is needed. You might be able to run a washer down that post to give you that tiny bit of needed seperation from the frame mount.

No matter what, let us know what the final fix was.

Well I tried that and still only 1 folded up [:@]

Checked out the shaft's and found that one is shorter than the other, preventing it form clearing the frame mount's.

Back to the bike shop tomorrow
