I'm looking for a good aftermarket taillight that fits well under my 08 fender to install after the slam job. Any suggestions? Pictures? Thanks to all.
I just installed the Tri bar tail light also, looks great under the fender, bright too. Installed the smoke signal covers and speedo/tachometer combo. Now if the temp would stop dropping I would be riding .
I put the Tri-Bar on my bike last year and have been VERY happy with it.
It fits better than anything else and is brighter than the standard same as every other Harley tailight.
This is what it looks like when its just "on".
And this is what it looks like with the brake "on".
The pics don't do it justice, its actually a bit brighter than it appears.
The camera'sautomatic setting dims over bright lights.
I made the "plate" up from some scrap aluminum I had laying around to back up the state issued plate because its kinda thin and with that big tire chucking rocks at it all the time I suspected that it would not survive too long if I left it unsupported somehow. Its also great for deflectingrocks and road debris fromthat expensive LED light assembly.
I gotta agree, the 3 bar led from the dealer is the best lookin taillight for these fenders. Put mine on not long ago and lovin it! Since the install I changed my blinkers to smoked lenses, much better looking now!
